Courage in the Everyday

Courage is one of those words we often reserve for big, dramatic moments — the kind that make headlines or become stories told for generations. But the truth is, courage shows up in far quieter ways long before it ever becomes something heroic.
It can be loud and obvious. It can be quiet and gentle. And sometimes, it’s barely noticeable unless you’re the one living it.
Yesterday reminded me of that.
Courage is getting up and doing the work even though your body was sore from the extra hour you pushed through the day before. Courage is choosing to keep building your business foundation piece by piece, even when the list feels long and the system still has gaps. Courage is sitting with discomfort instead of rushing past it. Courage is making decisions that future‑you will thank you for — ergonomic upgrades, clearer workflows, better boundaries. None of it is dramatic. None of it is loud. But it is brave.
Courage isn’t always about running toward danger or saving a life. Sometimes it’s simply choosing the life you want, one small action at a time.
And maybe that’s the kind of courage we need more of — the everyday kind that quietly reshapes our world.
Maybe today is a good day to notice the quiet courage within — and honour it.
